Carex Health Brands Apex, Ultra Pill Crusher

My 5 year old started taking medicine that only came in pills. Obviously she's unable to swallow them yet, hence the pill crusher. We previously tried the Meijer brand, and it did crush the pills, but more of a rough crush and thats definitely going to be noticed by a 5 year old. We resorted to a mortar and pestle. That worked great! But it was a pain to travel with, and really heavy. So we then started crushing it on a plate or bowl with a spoon, which definitely got the job done, but I was paranoid about medicine particles jumping off the plate. My child's school was requesting a pill crusher for her daytime pills, and I came across this one, that said ultra fine. I was very skeptical, because, well, if my child decides they dont like the medicine, their first reaction is to just let it all run out of their mouth, which is never fun for anyone. But after using this once, I immediately ordered a second for the house. I love how easy it is to use. Its small and light, easy to travel with. And the pills are quickly ground to an ultrafine dust/powder. This is amazing, where has it been the last year!!
