Weighing in at just under 2 pounds, this golf umbrella has been a great choice for me. Mind you I have unbreakable umbrellas for a self defense item but for practical reasons, I find this to be a great alternative.It has an automatic open mechanism with a button.There are two straps to secure it. It comes with a UV material shield but I find it impractical to use it.The umbrella material is a waterproof reflective material that really works for keeping the sun rays off of me. I feel cooler in temperature when compared to my defensive umbrella which is black.It’s like bring a sunshade with me, wherever I go.The handle is comfortable. The umbrella is sturdy and the vents help with stability in wind.It works for rain, as well as harmful rays from the sun. It makes a great golf umbrella, too, because of its size. It is large enough for up to two or three people.Overall, I’m very pleased with it.Update Aug 2020It is still holding up strong. It keeps the hot sun off of me. The vents don’t really open with wind but it has not been damaged. I do find it to be heavy on my walks that last an hour. I ordered a more compact umbrella that is half of the weight to see how that changes.I have used this in the rain, and it is very effective.I have not had any degradation of the outer coating.It’s a durable, effective umbrella for rain or shine.

Sturdy and lightweight, perfect for walking in the rain. The large diameter minimizes my shoes from getting wet. I love the one button open...works very reliably. You manually close the umbrella but it's easy and works well. The silver sunscreen on the outside is very effective, but I think I would like a lighter color on the inside compared to the dark blue that I got. I think a lighter color would make the inside a little cooler than dark color does. A well-made, decent, durable umbrella.

Wow! This is a beautifully made and sturdy umbrella! I would say it is far better than anything I could have expected..I can’t wait to use it! Beautiful! I bought the 54”, and it is BIG!

Let me disclose that I have no spatial capabilities. You can put the measurements of something down, but unless I actually SEE it in person, I have a very difficult time picturing how big/small it is. I was hoping to get something that was big enough for both myself and my boyfriend when we went walking under the Texan summer sun. And it does a very good job of blocking the light! However, it's not really big enough for both of us...and worse, it's HEAVY. I'm not saying this is a reason you shouldn't get it, because I really don't think it's a bad product, but I'd recommend a regular umbrella size. As it is, I feel like I need to walk 5 feet away from my boyfriend so I don't poke him, since he's not all that interested in trying to squeeze under it (and who would want to, when it's already a million degrees outside?).I will say that the size I got is NOT something I'd be willing to carry around in my hand all day, but it blocks the sun really well, and the smell was really not that bad, so overall I think it's a pretty good product!

I bought this umbrella to use for shade at baseball games. Used all summer for 2 little league games a week and it was perfect to provide shade and protect from rain showers. Used for fall baseball games as well. The large size provided a nice wind block on a cold and windy day. After a lot of use it has maintained wonderfully.

This umbrella is unlike any other umbrella I've bought in the past. I bought the 62 inch with light blue lining.Pros: It's very sturdy and very well made. The length of the handle is great for making sure all 3 people fit underneath. The grip is foam padded to aid in the ease of handling when wet and holding for a lengthy time. I use it most days as I walk in the hot Phoenix sun to pick up the kiddos from school. The reflective top and light color underneath keeps us cool at the peak of the day when it's hottest.Cons: being 62 inches it is slightly heavy for a more petite person to carry while open, you may want a smaller size if being used for 1 person.Overall, this is an amazing umbrella; a MUST BUY. You won't be disappointed if you seek refuge from the sun.
