Fashion Aviator Mens Military Chronograph Watch Dress Black Leather Strap Date Quartz Analog Casual Watches

First, I'll acknowledge this is a fairly cheap watch and perhaps not a fine example of the watchmaker's art. That said, it's eye-catching (not too large, but not tiny) and looks mean in pure glossy black. I've been enjoying some of these watches made in the PRC because they run less than thirty bucks, are more stylish than they have a right to be, and give you daily wear options that you don't have to handle with kid gloves. Some even sport chronographs. This one is a sort of hybrid of the military and pseudo-aviator styles such as Stuhrling and AVI-8, which cost 3 or 4 times as much. It has a working chronograph with three subdials. One of the subdials has a red hand, while all other hands are brilliant white as are the hour and minute markers, which makes them very visible against the airplane-gauge inspired black pebbly face. There's another red tick to the right of the date window. The 12:00 position is a white triangle, and the rest of the numbers (there is no 3, 6, or 9) are also gauge-inspired. The crown and pushers look good and feel solid, functioning the normal way, though there is some mushiness in adjusting the hands when setting time (not a huge problem). The band says it's leather, but it could be PU leather, although it looks good with the white stitching nicely done -- even though it's a bit stiff it softens up after some use. I have a fairly large wrist and have no problem with band length. The black buckle is also glossy, with Ochstin etched on it. Not sure if the movement is Japanese or Chinese, but it's not as noisy as some of the similar type watches I've reviewed. For very little money, under $30, the watch even has a screw-down back. This is a nice-looking watch and reminds me of my Times Expedition field chronographs, except it's black rather than brown. So far, it seems to be keeping time well and has had no issues yet, unlike a couple of the other comparable watches I've tried recently. It looks good with black clothes and black leather jackets, by the way. I'm giving this watch 5 stars because, for the price, it's a darn nice daily wear timepiece that you can afford to mess up -- and replace!--W.D. Gagliani, author of Savage Nights (and watch fanatic)

It's a $25 watch. The case isn't matte black as pictured, but is glossy black. Kind of disappointed about that. Really cheapens the look of the watch. The band isn't real leather, smells of rubber/vynil. On the positive side, all hands are aligned properly. Not sure about the accuracy, but prob as accurate as any quartz watch. The black paint on case will most like wear off quickly, at that point I'll toss it. The materials like the glass, case and buckle all feel cheap. But it's a cheap watch so that's expected.I'll keep it around as a "beater" watch.

Very beautiful watch for the price. Got it for my boyfriend as a present, he LOVES IT. It looks reaaaally good for the price. The leather strap looks really fine with the watch. It honestly looks like an expensive watch. I am very impressed by this watch. It is very classy-looking with a high-quality wrist band. It also keeps accurate time :-)
