It drove me nuts when my ash trays filled up with rain water. It was so gross and I hated emptying them. Came across this product and seems like the solution. While It hasn’t been rained on yet the lid seems secure and I don’t think I’ll have an issue. Will update my review if it goes poorly. Very cute ashtray too. It is tiny like the picture in the hand indicates. So far I’m happy with this product!Updated review- still got full of rain water

I do love this small ashtray. Beautiful inside on a table or outside on a patio. It is not necessarily waterproof. If sitting out in direct rain I could see that water might get in it. I didn't order it as a waterproof solution so it works for me just as a more attractive pc. Than your normal ashtray. It is smaller right size for end table on the patio or porch or inside.

This ashtray is so much prettier in person!! It holds at least a pack of cigarettes. This is the first ashtray I’ve had with a lid and I love, love, love it. Let’s face it, even though we’re smokers, there is nothing worse than smelling an ashtray!! So I slap on that lid after I ash it out ...and... Ta Daaa!! No stinky ashtray. It’s a welcomed favor. So glad I got it. I’m going to buy a few out on the patio in the Spring!

This is a very pretty ashtray. Great for keeping ash smell in, and stopping ashes blowing around outside. Heavy enough to withstand some wind.

Not very happy that the middle piece was broken when it arrived. However it would be more hassle to send back. Happy with size and hoping the wind won't blow it off my patio table.

What a cool little ashtray...Deep enough; the middle section is really handy too. I used to use a regular ashtray with a butt stop..(It was a scull, eyes glowed.) I would have to pick it up more than once a day when the section in the middle would get plugged; always getting my hands dirty. With this ashtray ...It butts smokes really easily, or you can snuff them out using the lid. Also really attractive..I hate the loook of butts in my ashtray... The lid works well to cover em up. The only negative, the grooves to hold smoke in place..are not carved deep enough nor do they lean forward..So it’s not designed to hold smoke but there for aesthetic reasons.. Cigarettes can fall out
