It works fine. The 4 star review vs a 5 star review is because it is shown to be crome, but it is really flat black. I have used this several times and it works as it should. Other, more expensive brands have a deeper shaft that is designed to go into 2 45 plates that will keep it from sliding around.This model goes into just one, so it will slide on you. I usually push the 45 pound plate it is inserted into against the wall to keep it from sliding around.My 4 star review is based on price. I am sure the more expensive one works better without sliding, but for the price, this is great!

I've bought several pieces from barbells4me and this probably the stand out purchase. It beats the price of other landmine sleeves currently listed on Amazon, it's a sturdy piece of versatile home gym equipment, the hinge is well designed and stands up to heavy use- have had family do landmines and t-bar rows with 175+ on it. The bracket end fits right into stacked Olympic plates (see pic) The sleeve end is snug but an Oly bar goes in and out easily. Heavy rows do not pull the bar out of the sleeve or produce any bar movement.

My frist order was defective and did not fit inside my plates. Roger was glad to send another order out. The landmine sleeves are solid. I don't see this breaking any time in the future. They both have small chips and a little rust on them, but that was expected from the product description. It's because of those minor flaws that these are sold at such a low price. Keep in mind that it comes in a matte black. I'm surprised the product pics aren't updated yet. I would definitely recommend this for others.

This landmine attachment is solidly constructed and moves in both the x and y axis, allowing for great freedom of motion. The short end fits comfortably inside a thick olympic bumper plate or two olympic 45 lb iron plates stacked together to provide a stable anchor for any exercises you might perform. An olympic barbell (2" in diameter) fits comfortably inside the longer end. This is a rugged piece of equipment of great craftsmanship, and I expect it to last me years - possibly a lifetime of lifting. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

The Beast of a Piece to add to your arsenal of high end equipment. Like others have said, this is a great value for those who want quality at a great price. At first I was concerned that the inside finish might have some burling or roughness to it, but in fact it has just enough bite to insure my olympic ez-bar doesn't slip. I can use this on a shorter bar for my indoor workouts and my full olympic bar for garage workouts and go reckless if I want. Couldn't be happier .

The HD Landmine pivots in x and ,y axes like others. Additionally, it has extra radial motion around the z axes which the other brands do not. This extra motion provides greater freedom of motion and a better workout. As for rust, simply spray and wipe it down with WD-40, mineral oil, or baby oil if you don't like the smell of WD-40. Oh, did I mention this thing is built like a tank. Quality product, Superior design, best pricing available, fast delivery. What is not to love?

This piece of equipment is boss for the price. Provides a wildcard to my routine and helps to break muscle memory so I keep my body guessing so I don't Plato. Adds exercises for my back, shoulders, core and tries.Heavy duty and a good value. Its not pretty like mentioned but if your worried about maybe you shuld think about taking zumba instead. Do you wanna be a monster!!! or a fairy;* that's up to you. Lift, Eat, Sleep, Repeat.

I work out with my trainer in my home gym. This landmine was a perfect addition to my set up.Don't have a lot of free weights to use it in a stack, so my trainer came up the clever idea toput it on one of the standing rods at the bottom of my punching bag stand.Works great - highly recommend this placement if you don't happen to have weights.
