Very useful if you plan on saving trips to get ripped off and at dealership/motorcycle mechanic.

Excellent manual. Many photos. Lots of detail notes regarding different years of the same model.

Haynes doesn't make the best manuals for the DIYer but they work for the most part. It can be difficult to find things as the index sucks and it's even worse when you don't know what the part is and you're trying to find out. Otherwise it's not bad.

exactly what any do-it-yourself-er needs. clear common-sense explanations and imagery, and even describes the stuff most people don't really even need to know unless they're a pro. this book explains the entire bike, pretty much bolt-for-bolt. everyone needs a book for every vehicle they own anyway, and this is no exception. the hard cover adds to the handiness and durability.

The wiring diagram in the back of the book is in color and very helpful....thank God it's in color

Every owner of a vehicle should have a version of this manual in your possession. Save your self money from going to the shop when you can do it yourself with a well written guide with pictures to help you along your way.

I love this book! Not only does it have clear instructions on how-to's, but pictures also. It's clear about the distinction in instruction for each K model, which makes DIY so much easier.With the pre-checks, maintenance schedules, and trouble shooting guides, there's no reason why we can't be enjoying our rides for years to come...so ride!

Arrived on time and in excellent condition. The manual is in black and white, but section with wiring diagrams is in full color. Feedback about using the manual: It covers gen1 models as well as gen2 and differences in their procedures are interleaved such that it's a bit distracting to follow. The sections are marked, but more than once I lost time reading the procedure for the gen1 which is irrelevant to me, only to not find that part on my gen2. If I were to go back in time, I would look for a manual that covers only '03 models onward because it would be easier for me to use. Folk with the earlier models may want to look for a book covering '99-'02 only.

Pays for it self very quickly. I was able to diagnose a used bike I bought that wasn't running, using this book. And fixed the issue myself, saving a ton of money. Feul pump was broken. Radiator fan switch didn't work either. Fixed both. Also changed engine oil, brake fluid, coolant fluid, torque wrenches all bolts, all of this using this book
