Not especially sturdy but still very good value for the price. Unlike others of this type that I've had this one fit well together and all of the parts were present. Easy to assemble. When putting it into the ground I first use a metal stake to hammer in some holes in the ground as I didn't want to damage the frame. Then I inserted the frame to a decent depth for the soil quality ( mine is quite hard and has many trees roots). I gently firmed the frame into the ground with a hammer close to a tight screw by the first upright section. This worked well. After compacting the soil around the footings I then draped my old climbing rose (which had been sprawling on the ground for several years) over the now steady frame and tied it in. It looks good and I can't wait to see what it looks like when the roses are out. Tip: make sure the holes of the two joining prices are perfectly aligned before inserting the screw - it sounds obvious but it isn't always :). I bought two and assembled them differently as it allows for a wider arch span - very happy with purchase.
