WATANOSATOJinbei Cotton Crepe Woven *Import*Japanese Clothes Size Men's

My husband has a Muji brand jinbei from a couple years ago and loves it as lounge/pajama wear in the summer. So when I decided to look for a 2nd set, and found this online (direct from Japan) I was hoping it's just as nice. & my husband is very pleased. The fabric is made of 100% cotton (the proper crinkly thin cotton that feels cool while wearing). has a wide stitching on the shoulder for extra ventilation.Delivery was phenomenal - via Fed Ex and even though we expected 2 weeks, it came within 1 week of ordering! came in a nice box with ornamental bow paper wrap 'Noshi-gami"(the traditional gift wrap in Japan).Size wise would order a larger size as it's made in Japan. My husband is S/M so we ordered M.

Like many of you trying to spice up some Japanese culture in your life like I did. I struggled to make a choice between a cheaper one and this Watanosato one. I ended up going for this one because reading reviews of other Jinbei I saw that a common trend would occur. That the other Jinbei's were made with low quality fabrics from China and were a bit uncomfortable. So I made the decision to pay a little more up front and get the Watanosato one. If you are considering this Jinbei, just get it! It is much better quality, has nicer colours and is way more comfortable than the one from Edoten. I bought them both and I can't understate how much better this one is!

Wonderful quality! I ordered two of these, one blue one grey striped, and I can’t believe how fast they shipped! Their Jinbei is very comfortable, great for wearing around the house now that were in the summer months (or even perhaps out shopping or for a walk if you wanted :). I’ve ordered other Jinbei from other sellers (Chinese company) and the fabric felt more like straw and the sizes did not convert well for what I normally take (medium was too small). However the medium for this Jinbei fits perfectly for my slender self (150lb 5’11) as the shorts have a stretchy elastic band and the top is roomy enough. If your looking for good quality jinbei, you can’t go wrong with this!

I've been looking forward to wearing one of these for years. Seeing Japanese men wear these in movies, dramas, anime, etc - they always looked comfortable at home, yet ready to travel if need be. I can now say that my assumptions are definitely true (at least with the quality from this seller), wearing one is rather comfortable, firm enough for travel, and perfect for the upcoming summer weather (it's so airy!).It is a little itchy at first, as with all things in this texture, but your skin quickly adjusts to it.Now the only question left for me is... how do I wash this? Time to do some research.

This is a very comfortable jinbei; it fits well. It would be great if it was a little cheaper though.

I wish there would've been one size larger available so the the shorts were a little more comfortable for my husband. He's a big guy (6'3 with a little belly) and the biggest size available fit perfectly in the top; but is still a little tight in the shorts. It's a very high quality 甚平; and seems to be identical to the one I wanted from amazon JP that wouldn't ship to the US.
