Yes does require soldering!
Yes does require soldering but this is the correct way to fix any speaker problems and keep Face ID working.

Requires soldering.
Says does not need professional to assemble but it does, as you need to desolder and re-solder the attached pieces that go to it. It is though IMO better than the already assembled part with sensors already attached as you would lose facial recognition with those and you will not lose that ability using this piece replacing ONLY the speaker.
