Works as intended.
Works great. Also the red lead is ~ 1/2 shorter than the black which is a nice touch if you worry about shorts.

Short leads
It was what I wanted EXCEPT the leads were very short.

Durable, Easy to Use
I use these mainly for testing DC Equipment in the Field. They are easy to use, I love the alligator clips because it allows me to clip on to the power leads without having to crimp on wires. Also have a usb 5vdc upconverter so these little guys allow me to use a variety of equipment ranging from 5vdc to 24vdc as long as the amperage is below 5a.

"Copper" Alligator Clips
Brand new test leads right out of the package. I wanted to remove the clip covers and check the quality of the solder joints. Since when is "copper" magnetic? And how exactly does "copper" rust? Thanks Amazon... for promoting and selling the finest products available anywhere.

The quality of the construction and materials of these test leads is outstanding. The clips are well soldered to the wires, and the PVC insulator is thick and robust. I expect these to serve well for years to come.
