scan tool
This scan tool is amazing, first off the shipping was amazingly quick but the quality of the unit was better than expected. It is very easy to navigate the controls good thing cuz instruction book was very basic, but just google a video of functions this is an amazing tool.

It scans and give results easily. It is good at this price
The product is goodz it scans and give me the reports. I think it can be more broad like which problem it found and what steps I should take. But overall the product scans good and give feedback. I just need to google it to understand.

Value beyond its price
Holy cow!! My 2016 Range Rover Sport, had a Coolant issue because of a busted connector. Eventually got the parts to fix it, but the Check Engine light came on. Now I wasn’t about to pull the negative terminal and reset EVERYTHING! So, I took a chance on this OBD.. Good Lord Almighty!! Because the reset at a mechanic was $150 and $300 at the Rover Dealer. NOPE! .. There are tons of other reader all the way up to $1300.00 and again NOPE! This gave me the code, the reason for the code and then reset my Check Engine light like a little magic pocket gnome. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive reader with just the right amount of options

Nice graph display of sensors.
It helped me read the graph of the O2 sensors. Once I cleared the rich mixture error and hasn’t come back. Saved me hundreds in repair costs.

Works, but laughable documentation
The thing works ok, it does its job decently, it's cheap. Limit your expectations. And "support?" What's that? They don't know. It's Chinese. When it breaks eventually, throw it into a volcano. For instance, the only thing I could find on the actual "Support" menu of their site is a "subscription" for "updates" for $80 (for a gadget that costs half that. Their online "user guides" read like marketing brochures, and while you CAN connect this to a computer, via the unexplained-in-the-box USB cable, nowhere do they make it clear it only works on Windows. I will make it clear: IT CAN ONLY BE CONNECTED TO RELATIVELY-RECENT WINDOWS PCS! There. The gadget does feel decently made and because it needs no battery (it pulls power from your OBD port and cannot diagnose anything if thw car doesn't run) it's one less thing to keep track of.Forty bucks, it does stuff, the documentation and "support" are laughable. Not the worst thing I ever bought on here, and it got here fast.

Surpassed my expectations
Imagine my surprise when I found out that the live data actually worked on my older Toyota. I was just buying it to be able to read and clear codes, I never expected it to show me a graph of live data. That really helped me pinpoint the problem better than just having a code alone would have. Connection was easy and it automatically identified the car, that is better than some professional units I've seen.Pros:Identified car without me entering dataRead codes easilyRead live data and displayed a graph for meWas able to clear codesPerformed well enough that my mechanic borrowed it to use on a car his unit wasn't reading... it read it!Cons:If I just had to pick on it a bit, I'd complain about the user manual... if you want to call it that. Terrible user manual.Screen is a bit hard to read if you have bad close up vision, so get out your reader fellow GenX'rs
