Great Umbrella & Sunshade
This umbrella was a replacement for a lovely golf umbrella I had that sadly got stolen. I searched for a windproof one as it really annoys me when umbrellas blow inside out when it's windy & rainy. I also wanted one that could be used as a sunshade as my skin is extra sensitive after suffering 2nd degree burns and post chemotherapy.I also chose this one because I loved the mint/greeny-blue colour (actually called Lake Blue) on the inside and the good reflective silver on the outside. The inside colour is a happy colour for me so cheers me up on dark rainy days!I must say, when it arrived I was surprised how big it was - it's huge! You could easily fit 2 or 3 people underneath it!It's been well and truly tested in the rain and is marvelous - kept me very dry. It has a flap - like a little extra umbrella at the top to make it windproof & I was worried rain might leak through but thankfully it was completely water-tight.I haven't really tested it properly in the strong wind yet - so will come back to this after that event has occurred. The 2nd photo only shows about ¼ of the umbrella, just to give you an idea of size. I had it on that side of me because that was the direction the wind was blowing the rain from. Sorry it doesn't show it all, it's all I've got at the moment. If I can add some more pictures later I will... 😊When folded up I used it as a walking stick, but at 5'5" it was very tall for me - I think it would be a good size walking stick for a 6' person! As a sunshade it was perfect too and gave very good coverage. It would be ideal as a sunshade on the beach or when out for a picnic.I purchased it just before a music festival weekend I went to. I clamped it onto a hired mobility scooter to keep both the rain and the sun off me. Although it gave me good coverage it was a bit big for that in a crowded place. The part of the handle that you hold is soft grip which is great on the hands but not so good for a small clamp. My daughter walked beside me when I was in the motability scooter and it was big enough for her to be able to hold it over both of us.In crowded places, when there's just one underneath, the umbrella is so big it's a bit of a liability - I was constantly aware that someone might get caught by it. I think if I were a tall person, or not in a mobility scooter, that wouldn't have bothered me so much as it would be above most people's heads! It's perfect when there's not crowds though - and people certainly see you coming! It comes complete with a silver case that has a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder when not in use, which is really handy.I'm very pleased with this umbrella and hope it lasts me a long time. ☔️☂️⛱️🌂

Double Jointed Hinges Doesn't Break when it Pops in High Winds!
Umbrella has joints that prevent it from breaking when it pops in high winds. I work out side and use this umbrella constantly for sun, rain and wind protection. I've had 2 years regular use of the 68'' umbrella. POarts that need to be improved are the velcro fasteners & the wire used in the frame work holing the rods in place at the top...that broke today. Repairing with lock wire and ordering another today. 9/10 as reliable product for work and play.

(I still...) Can’t recommend it highly enough.
Originally written in 2021, I want to add an update because it is still in as good condition now as it was then. Admittedly it doesn't get a huge amount of use, living in England, but when it does, it has to cope with me sitting in a garden high up above the beach, facing the sea with the brolly behind me. When the wind comes in off the sea it can reach almost gale force on occasions, but and as long as I sit on the chair it puts up with all that comes at it. I do have a massive galvanised steel clamp to hold it to my equally tough chair, but in high wind it needs it. If I were to get up, the brolly, clamp and chair would fly over the bungalow roof behind me – in fact, if I left an average 3-4 yr old in it the wind would take the brolly, clamp, chair and child* too!It has never turn inside out, the spokes are still all in place (I had to put a couple of stitches on one of the ends holding the fabric to the spoke, but that is hardly a problem as it hadn't crack, the stitching one one came loose). It really was a good find.* I wouldn't ever do that of course, even if I had a child to leave there.Original review:I have a serious sun allergy and bought this for a recent holiday – I’m 5’8” and was entirely covered by the shade from this huge brolly. I used an old metal clamp and clamped it onto my sun lounger and despite a significant wind coming onto the garden it stayed up, didn’t bend, snap or tear and provided full body shade (and I’m certainly not anyone’s definition of slim). I found that there was a significantly lower temperature when under its protection and I will not go out in the sun without it now.

Extra Large Golf Umbrella
This is absolutely perfect in this summer's weather for our trip to the beach. We will be able to keep the whole family dry as well as all our belongings. It has a great carry handle on the case and folds away really easily.

80” Great size but takes some handling!
My brolly’s push button opening doesn’t work automatically. Had a huge laugh when it closed over me while I sat under it(didn’t matter at the time but it might have). Not wind proof because when open the slits are tight closed because the frame stretches the fabric taught. You have to thrust your hand between the layers to know even they’re there. So wind would not escape through imo.The gold buggy clamp holder we bought for this was worse than useless so now getting some U bolts to clamp it to our chair and will apply guy ropes from top! I do not want this monster to bowl down the beach in a gust of wind and knock anyone over!!Doesn’t feel particularly cool sat under it but you can’t see the sun through the coated fabric so that’s good.Great to sit under, currently I balance it in my chair’s cup holder, and hold one handed, and I’ve got shade all around, my toes included. That’s what I wanted. I’m 180cm and this is big enough for me.

Excellent shade
I bought the 68 inch version. This was amazing for leaning up against the porch of my small tent when camping, so I could sit there without the sun burning down on me. Also great when walking around, though a little bit too big in crowded places - which is why I also bought a small folding one (from somewhere else) just to keep my head cool. Very pleased indeed with this big one.
