This did come in pieces but I was able to put this together on my own in about 20 minutes. The instructions were easy to manage and it was very easy to put together. The design is perfect for my father in law’s needs with space for his rods, reels, and tackle boxes. There is sort of a cedar like smell to the wood but it’s not unpleasant. The best part of the design is the lazy Susan on bottom for easy maneuvering of the piece.

Received 3 days after I placed the order. It is as good as described. Very easy to assemble these solid materials. It is well designed for professional fisherman. It can hold up to 10 rods. The rod clipper has very tight opening that can avoid falling out of light rods. Enough space for reels and box storage. Recommend it for sure .

It just seemed cheaply made materials and back panel was scared up on edges that show. Must have happened during delivery I guess. But it was a gift for my father and I was kinda disappointed with it. And the Round pegs I still don't know what use they are and why the center shelves pieces that had routed out in 6 spots what's the purpose for that? Two shelves were like that and just don't make any sense why it's built that way

The wood was stained but it wasn't sealed. When I opened the end of the box i was overwhelmed by the odor of the stain that was used. Any good wood worker would hit it with at least 2 coats of urethane or spray it with lacquer. It really stinks, I mean smells bad. I have had to move it to the field behind the house.Of the 10 rod holders 2 fell off during shipping, 4 are loose. this is because sheet metal screws were used to attach them instead of wood screws. Since the holes that were drilled for the sheet metal screws stripped out there are only 4 rod holders usable. Can I get a refund of my money? This isn't worth shipping backcan you guys come and get it?

Extremely fragile cedar. Box came damaged on the corners (dropped several times it looks like). This resulted in the plywood backing board being damaged on two edges. However I just put those edges near the bottom so you don't notice. Shelves allowed to slide around in box causing several edges "splintering" and pealing the finish off. One shelf came broken in half right along the grain. I used some dowel pins and glue to fix it, and you don't notice. Basically not packaged to survive the normal brutal conditions of shipment. Would be better made of veneered particle board. Heavier, but tougher.Put this in a low traffic area, not around a door, it is so soft it would not survive an occasional bump without it getting "antiqued" and splinter/peal. If it was priced anywhere near $100 I would say forget it.
