Kaco Gel Ink Pens Retractable 0.5mm Extra Fine,Pack of 10 (Black Ink White Rod)

Love them!!!

When I first started using the pens I was so in love! I am really picky when it comes to any stationary product so I thought I hit the jackpot with these pens! I love the minimalistic design, the texture of the barrel is soft, very lightweight...overall, a very modern and ultra chic pen design! When I first began to write with a pen from the pack, it was a dream! Very fine writing, comparable to a Pilot G-2 0.5, but without the smudginess! I even did the highlighter test, (the quickest time was 3 seconds!) which again was a huge win! The other thing I love is that it almost feels like a pencil when you are writing, there is a certain soft grittiness to it which I surprisingly enjoy! Unfortunately all of it is overshadowed by my biggest pet peeve. One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to writing utensils, is ink skipping!! Which after a few uses these pens tend to do. Thats right! PENS! I have gone through 7 of these pens only to run into the same problem. As a full time pre-med student, I have to be able to take notes quickly, comfortably, and efficiently. I thought I had found my new favorite pen, but alas, the search continues. Gave it three stars because I think for everyday uses, and maybe not as an intense note taker, these pens will rock someone's world!

The ink smudges a little bit. It needs a minute to really dry. Overall a great pen.

I really like these pens they write smooth and are nice and simple but they do stop writing at random times

I love this pen and I hate writing. My penmenship is so terrible there are times I can't read what I wrote. This pen in my hands improves my ability to write ledgeable. The crisp drag of the pen tip on paper gives almost a tactile report. Also note this pen gives me the ability to write smaller than what I usually would.

I have been trying to use these for taking notes for about 3 months. They're fine tip, the ink is lovely, and the pen feels nice to hold. But unfortunately the ink *constantly* has trouble flowing out the tip for no reason, which is very frustrating- it will simply refuse to write at random points. At first I thought the ink was running out, but no, brand new pens do this too. I've tried pressing more firmly, writing more slowly, changing the angle of the pen, keeping the paper fully flat, changing up the paper type... nothing really helps. Must be a design flaw in the ink mechanism, as I've had this problem with all KACO pens. It's reached the point where I will use cheap, junky pens instead of these because they're just so frustrating to use! Wouldn't recommend for anyone who writes extensively.

I've really been into matte these days, and when these pens arrived I was immediately in LOVE. The ink is extremely smooth and it doesn't even smudge! How cool is that?! I plan to continue to buy my pens from this company, they make extremely good quality and aesthetic pens! I am so glad I came across these pens!

My first Kaco pen (0.5mm) came to me by way of a 'vendor-drop'. I fell in love with the pen immediately. I researched the pen, and I am making my second bulk purchase. I guess I lucked out on the batch of pens I received (the first time). Quality of writing, ease of writing, and grip are the absolute best for me, especially for the value. Everyone is different, and one's writing tool can be a very selective process.

These pens look and feel very stylish. Every pen arrives as showed in the images, and the point is covered in a little plastic blob, which reassures me that they are all unused.In terms of how they write, I have been using the same pen now for a month, and it hasn't run out yet. They write very similarly to a muji pen. But when the ink is dry and you highlight over with a brush pen or highlighter, nine out of ten times the ink does not smudge, which is something I was very impressed about.I used these pens for writing my notes, both for university and for everyday notes/planner.I am unable to comment on the consistency of the quality as I have only bought these pens once, but from the packet that I received, I would recommend them to a friend.

The pens are very good! But a little expensive but you won't regret buying them, you can exchange the refil of the pena and use the body of the pen which is pretty cool! I would recommend to buy it!

The pens themselves were okay, they do not seem to be as smooth as the other colours I have used by this brand. The packaging that it came in was just bubble wrap in a random box which makes me question the authenticity of the product (also makes them annoying to store).

Out of 10 colors, few write smoothly nutso many are scratchy.Colours are good. Pens are highly pigmented.But these pens can't be refilled easily which will turn out be more reason for more plastic waste. I am not so satisfied with the product.My favourite pens are Papermate ink joy gel pens retractable and Pentel energel rtx retractable both in 0.5mm and 0.7 mm tips. These pens stand no where in the comparison to the both. I will not buy again..

The media could not be loaded.  These pens are good,, quality is good as well as looks, but didn't came with a proper box like showed in the picture,, just wrapped in that bubbly thing ,, didn't like that for sure,, otherwise those are good but it would be more nice if these comes with the proper packaging,, right now I am feeling like kind of getting something local
