Best for kids for their general knowledge

The media could not be loaded. This Orboot was everything I hoped it would be—an upgraded version of the globe I knew and loved as a child. What’s impressive is that it is an interactive STEM toy that encourages learning through augmented reality. I was looking for an educational toy for my nephew and stumbled upon Orboot. What got me hooked are the tons of features for kids to explore (plus they earn coins which my nephew thinks is awesome)!You can go over any area of the globe and learn about animals, culture, food, stories, maps and locations. It really is an incredible learning tool that helps children learn about a region’s geography and more, albeit in an interesting, modern way!The passport (included) is my personal favorite part because my nephew can journal what he learned, and stamp his passport, ...just like he would have done if he was physically traveling to that part of the world! (He will end up doing that sooner than I know…I am certain.) The app is easy to navigate and I look forward to discovering more teaching aids from PlayShifu for my brood of nephews and nieces.

I got orboot for my 7 year old and it has turned out to be a great product. It is a globe that becomes interactive when used with the playshifu orboot app. It is an augmented reality app which works with all iPhones and iPads (except 1st generation) and Andoird devices with 2GB RAM or more. Fortunately I was able to use it with my phone but unfortunately for me and my child I can use it only on my phone. That is a little restrictive for my child as she needs to wait for my phone to be free to use it. However, my child thinks its fun to play with. It was easy for her to figure out how to work the app with the globe. The 'explore' feature gives factual information with 3D images about animals, monuments, culture etc of various places around the Earth. The 'world bank' a feature for collecting points is made to seem like a game. Then there are 'mysteries' to solve which my child absolutely loved. I think this is a great product. The only issue I faced is being able to use the app only from my phone.

Product was used and damaged. Box was also damaged. Accesories are missing.

The globe itself feels cheap plastic . The idea is good but the AR features of app are nowhere near perfect. AR needs to be stable. Animals and things on the globe through app are always moving slightly and not stable.

The printed MRP on the box is ₹1999 inclusive of taxes, however they hike the price to ₹2499 and show great discount which is not the case. Rest, the quality is decent and good educational gifting idea for 4-10 years old.
