I bought this water filtration system to use when I go hiking. I would prefer to drink filtered water but that is ‘t Always possible when camping. I tried to use some muddy water to filter in this system first and the water came out clean. I would still boil it after filtering.

Only used once since purchace it functions like it should (I hope the filter is as good as it claims) item feels flimsy/cheaply made. I could only recommend for a emergency usage and not for a regular usage. This is to be expected given the price.
