Carol Doak's Foundation Paper, 8.5-x-11-inch Misc. – August 1, 2004

This paper is a huge improvement over the regular printer paper I was using before. It's thinner, so it is easier to remove. And I had no problem with it feeding through my Brother laser printer from the regular paper tray.

Perfect weight, semi transparent You could easily Trace patterns if you need to. Thankfully they work great in my printer.

Looks like newsprint and tears away easily. No issues with running it through the printer - nice, clean print. Much better than tracing the pattern by hand or using regular printer paper.

Great product.

I used this paper for my first attempt at foundation paper piecing. The paper is thin, so I was concerned about it curling as it moved through my printer. It managed to stay flat.The quilting experts say to set your stitch length to 1.5, but my Juki uses even numbers. So, I set my stitch length to 1.6 and went through the process of making my first FPP block. The paper didn't rip when I used my presser wheel to press each seam (10 of them). I was able to make clean cuts with my rotary blade.The final test was removing the paper from the back. The edge pieces came off quickly, but I had to pinch the fabric a bit to remove the paper from the center pieces. That worked out well.

Works great. But, seriously overpriced.

I've tried different foundation papers but the one that works best for me is the Carole Doak's paper.It's strong enough to hold up to all the bending and ironing during foundation quilting but its also thin which makes it easy to remove after stitching.The paper always shows up on time and in good condition, not wrinkled or crushed (thank you Amazon).The cost is comparable to other vendors.
