Work if you know how it works
A lot of reviews mentioning common zippo style common things. "Not malfunctions." I bought mine here over a year ago for REGULAR USE and it works great. If you OVER fill it it'll leak from the bottom as expected with any fluid lighter. Flint spring tension and correct size are needed for it to work properl just like Zippo or trench style lighters. It's not a Bic it required you to adjust things after initial breaking in of the lighter. I love this Match trench lighter.

High Quality Item with One Forgivable Exception
The seller's photos accurately depict the item's actual appearance. When I received the item, I was pleased with its aesthetic detail and manufacturing quality. There were no visible defects present. The initial setup was exceptionally straightforward; the only task required was filling the lighter fluid reservoir, as the flint and wick were already set up. However, I plan to replace the wick with a higher-quality one since the included wick burns down faster than it should. The item has almost exactly the same dimensions as a regular Zippo lighter. The match lights consistently when pulled with appropriate force and generally only fails to light if it is pulled too lightly, which causes the flint not to spark. All in all it's a quality piece, with the exception of the low-quality wick, but that can easily be replaced.

One of the coolest lighters I own, but needs some love
This is one of the coolest lighters I own, but it has a couple things you need to know.Out of the box, it leaks. Be careful about overfilling it, but also: The bottom plate isn’t on very tight so I had to take it off, apply a little Vaseline around the edge, and put it back on, very tightly. This solves the leak problem. There is a tiny screw on the side that holds the cover on. Make sure this is on tight or it can come off and you will lose it forever. I had to replace mine because I lost the tiny screw somewhere off the first one I bought and finding a screw that matches this is pretty impossible. It burns wick like it’s going out of style. Helps to replace with a higher quality zippo wick, but even so, you will occasionally need to adjust the length of the wick. Just the nature of how a permanent match works.Past that, whenever I show this lighter off, it always impresses. And it’s useful if you want to light a candle in a jar, as those can be very hard to light with a zippo.

Leaks Like Crazy
Total Crap - leaks like a seive. Can't put three drops of fluid into it without it leaking out the bottom. Will TRY to take it apart - maybe some "JB Weld" can help ???

Uses a lot of lighter fuel.
The lighter itself looks very cool. Maybe if you just like to collect unusual lighters this would be a good idea.However. For practical usage it's clumsy when holding your pipe. And you always need two hands to operate it. So when you are lighting your pipe you have to be sure that you have somewhere level and safe to set the main body down on while you use the match to light your pipe. And this gets very frustrating whenever you have even a modest breeze. You end up having to set your pipe back down so that you can pick back up the main body so that you can strike the match again and then you have to set the main body back down and just hope that the match stays lit long enough for you to light your pipe.I smoke my pipe to relax and slow things down in my life giving me a mini vacation from the world. But having to fumble with this, although cool looking, lighter. It's hassles and having to have both hands free and possibly having to fumble with this lighter several times just to get a decent burn on your tobacco can completely stress you out and ruin any peaceful benefits that you may normally enjoy smoking your pipe. And then there's the fuel issue that I'm having. I've had this lighter less than three days and I only smoke my pipe maybe two or three times a day. Depending on how many mini vacations I feel I need to cope with life's BS. And I've so far had to fill this thing four times already. There is no way that I've gone through that much fuel. I've checked it over and over again for any signs of leaks and have found none. All I can figure is that The fuel is evaporating somehow. But I've checked everything and I couldn't tell you how it would. But I didn't buy this product to help it's designers to fix it. So unfortunately I'm going to be sending mine back for a refund.I'm going back to my reliable, single handed usable and fuel efficient Zippo pipe lighter.

Coolest lighter I ever had!
I love this little lighter. Amazing feel and solid weight. It doesn’t feel cheaply made, extremely durable for what I have already put it through. The design on the lighter is a nice touch, which gives a little grip to help pull the match out. It’s easy to use, holds a great flame for as long as you want and is not bulky at all in size. I forget it’s in my pocket at times. Perfect unique gift for the price, can’t be beat.

My daily go-to lighter
I have been using this for a month and love it. It's nice to just pull the "metal match" out and light candles or a cigar. The wick does need to be puller out a bit after it has burned down a bit but I use my front teeth :)I haven't had to replace the wick yet but bought the recommended replacements. I was hesitant as one review said it lasted 12 times and he had to replace the wick. I have used it that much in one morning times a month so he was doing something wrong. I only had to refill it once and I did it more out of precaution as I noticed the wick charring which it shouldn't do if you have adequate fuel. I would recommend just topping it off every few weeks and you should be fine, depending on use

Doesn’t work
This is the 2nd match lighter I bought, the first one works great, that’s why I bought a 2nd one, this one won’t light and keeps leaking fluid. Very disappointing. And it came in different packaging & has a different look to it with a different name on the bottom.
