I am a woodworker heavily invested in the yellow brand of tools, but wanted something compact and light to help with finessing fasteners, odd locations, and installation. My yellow brand impact driver is way too powerful for many woodworking tasks and is more of a construction tool.I was between the red brand installation driver (everyone raves about it) and this Bosch. I decided to buy both and compare. The Bosch is the better product in view. With the red tool, right out of the box, the bearing made an odd rolling noise once you let go of the trigger (apparently very common in that tool per a google search) giving me little confidence in the tool's longevity. I didn't mind the grip over the tool head versus the handle, but with medium sized hands I had to regrip every time I needed to hit forward or reverse. And changing orientation of the right angle or offset attachments was clunky, requiring that I take off the attachment, reorient, and then snap it back on. I then bought the Bosch and compared them side by side - this one is smaller, more compact, with a much more sensitive/controlled trigger, a smaller kit generally (didn't love the huge case and charger with the red), with a superior locking mechanism for the attachments that actually lets you reorient the angles without taking the attachments off. And it came with bits and a bit holder!Only complaints; the LED light could be a little brighter/broader, and case could be better designed with spots for each attachment, but neither is enough of an issue to detract from an otherwise excellent tool for its purpose.

This was a international buy to Colombia, the item was delivered by DHL 3 days before the date expected, so good delivery time.It arrives in perfect package, include all accessories that seller indicate, the device works perfect, I am very happy for this product, specially by the price (around 130USD) , if you analyze is cheaper because includes 2 rechargeable batteries and the current price by each battery is 50USD, then only the batteries cost 100USD, so the drill and mechanic accessories cost around 30USD, this is a perfect offer.I bought it to some home tasks, small installations, usually in wood, so after investigate different models I decided for this reference, in special for the accessories that allow use the tool in narrow spaces, I am conscious this tool is for low and medium force, I have other Bosh drill for hard tasks.Only I have one doubt about the international warranty, I understand that Bosh only cover in the country the tool was bought, in my case I bought in USA but I am in Colombia, so in my country suppose I will not have warranty, but I hope Bosh used excellent materials and a good assembler process that allow me use this tool many years.

I purchased this set as an addition to a similar one (not brushless) I purchased about 6 years ago. The original drill and accessories permitted me to drill and install screws, etc. in awkward places, and the new one does the same, only with more power. I put the older set on our RV, and use the new one at home. The two batteries on the older drill still charge well and deliver full performance.Short of doing heavy duty drilling that requires a hammer drill, or other high torque work, this drill will do anything my Bosch 18 volt drills will do, but with the flexibility of the included accessories and with much less weight. Frequently, I will use my 18 volt Bosch to drill the holes and this product to drive in the screws - saves a lot of time. Or, if I only this tool with me, I put the drill bit in the chuck accessory and the screwdriver bit in the hex accessory and easily swap them as needed.I highly recommend this product.

Since starting woodworking I’ve been stuck in the “more power” mindset. Most of the time, that is true but not with what I have been doing in the shop. Building my new shop the way I want has become my hobby for the better part of the year. Tons of cabinets, new custom bench, a lot of wall storage, pocket holes, small furniture, this tool is absolutely perfect for 90% of what I do. All with more control and not over driving. I have powerful drills for concrete and diving larger screws but this is so much more comfortable to carry and use. Installing drawers with big hulking drills seems a little silly to me now. The light weight and comfortable in hand nature of this has really made me rethink the entire 12v thing. I hit this on sale and it was rated higher by a lot of YouTube videos, plus I lean toward Bosch and festool. I’ve been hanging up pictures and shelves all day in my house and wish I’d had this sooner. I’m glad I randomly stumbled on a “show down” video where a lot of guys explained how useful these are

This set of interchangeable heads with drill is killer. I got it mainly for the offset head for inside caninet work, getting into a tight corner. The set also includes a keyless chuck for the special drill bits that aren't hex shank and a right angle head too. The drill is a two speed brushless 12 volt compact gem with an led light mounted where it actually shines where you are drilling. It happens to be my second set as the first one was stolen by some subhumans.
