Magpul QD Sling Swivel

These do in fact mount just fine in standard QD mount sockets, and are solidly built. The buttons are stiff, making it quick to detach when you want it to, but are unlikely to fall out because of an accidental bump. The rings are proportioned properly, and fit my 1.5" sling just fine. They could probably handle a 2" wide sling comfortably, but I wouldn't go any bigger than that. These aren't terribly expensive, and I'd recommend going with these instead of saving a few bucks with an unknown manufacturer. Going any more expensive probably won't bring much more benefit either.

Solid piece that does exactly what it advertises and nothing more. Works well, and really, you only need one of these if you only care about quick adjustments or just freeing yourself from your weapon. Get two if you want to fully remove the sling from a QD-enabled stock.

Magpul for the win! How can you go wrong with this name. Always of use, swivels when required, and very easy to mount.

I recently bought two uppers and needed to spruce them up with slings. I paired them with some Magpul M-Lok mounts. Here is my review, in the form of questions.Do they work? Yes, they work great. The pushbutton action works well and doesn't unintentionally detach, the materials are top notch, and it looks cool while keeping the sling attached to the upper. The anti-rotation is something I thought I wouldn't like, but after using the sling and mounts a few times I find it very desireable.Were they easy to install? Yes, very easy. Loop your sling through the mount, run it back through the buckle and then push the button to insert it into the mount. Easy peasy.Do they seem durable? Well, I haven't run any marathons with them but they are definitely high quality. They have a nice weight, there are no issues with the fit and finish so I expect them to last a long time.Would you buy them again? Heck, yeah! In fact, I'm going to buy another upper soon so I WILL be buying another one. Or two. We'll see what my bank balance is.Do they turn you instantly into a Navy SEAL? Nope. That takes years of training and a special kind of personality. However, they do look cool AND they work. Isn't that really enough?
