This is a really good product. I hate shaving, as many men do, but this makes it about as tolerable as it’s going to be.This is an electric razor in the shape of a standard safety razor. The replaceable head houses a vibrating blade that cuts the hairs that are directed into the blade housing through a very fine comb of plastic fingers, both on the push or the pull stroke. (See picture). The advantages of this system are that it delivers a pretty clean shave with few strokes, and it does a pretty good job on those pesky neck whiskers which tend to avoid electric shaver's foil or blade guards. It’s not as good as a blade, but is a great improvement.Norelco also claims their proprietary system offers a low friction, reduced razor burn, shave without the need for cream or even water. This appears to be true. I use it dry and it hasn’t caused my face any burn, but I’m retired and only shave two or three times a week. You working stiffs may have a different experienceIt does this all while offering a long lasting head. The ad campaign claims it will last four months but I found myself replacing it after two or so. It just seemed to be a little less aggressive but that may have been all in my head.Another advantage of this system is that the razor can be handled like a typical safety razor, i.e. you can grip it underhand and draw it upward under your chin. My old electric couldn’t do that.The only downside is that the replacement heads are a little pricy—about $10.00 a pop, but if you can get four months out of each you’ll save money.All in all, this is a really good little shaver.

Wow this is the best electric shaver I’ve ever used! The setup was easy as you simply snap the head into place. It comes with charging cable and fully charged in less than an hour. The handle is easy to hold and the power is strong. I can shave in any direction and it doesn’t knick the skin! You can go back and forth and it works both ways. Also can be used wet or dry and without shaving cream. My face never felt this clean with an electric shaver and it was super fast as well. This is any amazing purchase for the price. Great value!

Wow!! Really like this trimmer/shaver!! Works great and the ability to easily change the blade is a real plus because you always have a “sharp” blade that will eliminate the pulling action when the blades in most electric razors get dull.Also, the actual blade itself is not “sharp” per se, so no danger of getting cut or nicked. You can shave wet or dry and that also makes it easy to clean the entire product. Only minor issue so far is the directions are a bit light. However, YouTube has a number of excellent short videos to help the novice user. Really LOVE this shaver. Great value for the money and works GREAT!! Highly recommend this shaver.

I purchased this because I wanted to be able to dry shave my face and ditch the standard Gillette razors. Overall, it has been a satisfactory experience. The time to shave is less than 5 minutes. It is relatively small and easy to store and travel with. It behaves similar to just about every other electric razor on the market and is competitively priced. It is rough on my face and neck though. Whenever I finish shaving until the day after, I have red marks and a couple nicks. It has been sufficient thus far through 3 uses.

Excellent product. Does a great job of shaving without the fear of cutting yourself. We got this for our son when he first started shaving. He loves it.

Just as it is described, this shaver works great on coarse hair. I use this shaver before I use a traditional razor when I am grooming my intimate areas, and I have noticed a significant decrease in dryness and acne due to the new step. I've only had to charge this once since receiving it, however, I only use it for a couple of minutes at a time. Still, the battery life is fantastic, and I'm glad I don't have to charge it every single day.

At a price point under $50 this razor is simply a must have for your grooming needs.First off, I hate shaving with a passion as do many others. Traditional safety razors can be hard on my skin leaving razor bumps and other electric razors have been too bulky or don’t shave close enough to meet my needs. This razor has seemingly combined the best elements of a safety razor and an electric razor into one and it works beautifully. This razor shaves skin tight and I mean it, visually indistinguishable from a safety razor shave that’s how close to the skin it gets (if you’re in the military or have strict facial hair requirements, this razor will do the job!). Also, unlike other electrical razors, I’ve found it very difficult to knick myself, you’d have to be pressing extremely hard or not using the razor properly to knick your skin. This is a big relief as I’ve had my handful of knicks from other electrical razor styles, even while rushing this razor did not knick me once. The head of this razor is also very sleek, it’s even smaller than my safety razor, this makes it extremely easy to detail around your mustache or other areas and provides a lot of visibility while your shaving. I really like the small form factor for travel as well too as the razor takes up no room at all. It also comes with a razor guard that’s adjustable from size 1-5, I love the included razor guard since it’s adjustable and one-piece means you don’t have multiple attached to deal with, just one. Whoever designed the adjustable razor guard deserves a huge raise! I also found that the razor is relatively quiet for being electric, of course you still have the “buzz” sound but it is much less loud/annoying than other brands I’ve used, great if you live with others and don’t want to wake them up. This razor has quickly become my go-to for daily use and I don’t see any reason to ever go back, highly recommend for anyone with daily grooming needs!
