I purchased these to store some files that I have in my attic. The boxes fit file folders very well. The capacity of the box is very nice. The construction of the box is solid and even with heavy items in the box I was not worried about the boxes breaking. I was able to use many of the boxes to move into my dorm room at college. They are very well sized to move around.You must assemble the boxes, but this was very easy to do. The instruction are printed on the box, and do a good job to explain the assembly. After I had assembled one box I was able to assemble the rest without looking at the instructions. My one complaint is that the perforation to make the inner sides of the box and part of the bottom was a little difficult to remove by hand. I was able to use a knife and this made the process much easier. The perforation to build the lid and remove it from the rest of the assembly was not difficult at all to tear.Overall I recommend these boxes for anyone needing a useful file storage solution, or for someone who needs boxes for moving.

Great for holding end of the year paperwork. They are strong and I would recommend.

My office was using this larger Bankers Box Stor/File Medium-Duty Storage Boxes with String & Button, Letter, 12 Pack (00704) style Bankers Box but found they were too large for some members of our office team to lift once packed. We switched to these and the smaller size keeps the box weight manageable such that everyone in the office can move these. These smaller boxes are also more sturdy in construction.Our primary use for these boxes is in transferring paper files to a document scanning service. For this use they are fine. They are stout enough to allow stacking up to five boxes high and for those stacks to then be moved via a hand truck (dolly). The price at the time of purchase was a good value and the quality more than adequate for the use described. No complaints here.

My business is forced by law to keep records of our works for 3 years and these boxes are perfect. They are sturdy and stable, also the stack well. Side handles make them easy to rearrange and the white color make writing a breeze. Putting them together is simple, just like a regular box and the lid is a nice touch instead of folding them.

Pay close attention to the perforations to tear. If it’s not easy to tear, don’t do it. I damaged the first box due to heavy handed non instruction following. Otherwise good size for books or precious paperwork and they don’t get too heavy when ful.
